Research highlights
  • Developing a numerical model of a fluid-saturated medium with a visco-deformable base allowing to factor the processes of interfacial heat transfer between the base and the fluid
  • Modelling the process of temperature anomaly formation in the mantle of active oceanic margins and deriving numerical results that are consistent with experimental data
  • Performing an asymptotic study of simplified Navier-Stokes equations in the long-wave approximation and deriving a functional ratio between the surface movement and the liquid interface
  • Performing calculations of the crust-mantle boundary profile under large-scale ring structures on the moon
  • Developing a complex numerical model was developed describing the evolution of a slow viscous flow in a computational domain that includes a relatively thick layer of a viscous liquid and a multilayer viscous layer on its surface based on the Reynolds and Stokes equations
  • Using the small parameter method, an asymptotic equation was made allowing to achieve good accuracy and stability of the numerical solution and significantly reducing computational costs. The model allows to study a wide class of tectonic processes.
  • Deriving results of large-scale tectonic deflections formation modeling
