Within the area of ocean biochemistry and ecology, complex biochemical, physical-chemical and thermodynamic studies are performed assessing the state of aquatic ecosystems and anthropogenic impact on the marine environment. Studies of the biochemical mechanisms’ hydrobiotic response to environmental pollution are carried out.
